Glen Eira is located in Melbourne’s south-east, just 10 kilometres from the CBD and covers 39 square kilometres. We’re a proudly diverse municipality, home to more than 161,000 people, with a rich mix of cultural backgrounds, life experiences and community connections. The area rests on the traditional lands of the Boon Wurrung/Bunurong and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation. 

There are over 120 different cultural backgrounds in Glen Eira, with one third of residents born overseas. Our City boasts seven major activity centres filled with local businesses as well as two state-of-the-art leisure centres. Our parks and sports fields support our 73 sports clubs, keeping Glen Eira active and connected.
